Caesars Sportsbook becomes official betting partner of New York Mets

Caesars Sportsbook has become the official sports betting partner of New York Mets, continuing its strategy of sponsoring sporting entities.

In one of its most high-profile sponsorships to date, parent company Caesars Entertainment has signed a multi-year partnership with the Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise, which is expected to lead to VIP experiences and a new retail sportsbook.

The new, 13,000 square-foot sportsbook, branded as Caesars Sportsbook at the Metro Grille, is scheduled to open during the forthcoming baseball season, which commences 7 April. The retail venue is set to feature alongside the existing bar and dining options at the Mets’ stadium, Citi Field.

Chris Holdren, Co-President, Caesars Digital, commented: “New York is a key state for us following the successful launch of our Caesars Sportsbook app in January. The Mets’ fanbase is one of the most loyal in baseball and this partnership offers us the chance to treat those passionate fans like Caesars. We look forward to opening our space at Citi Field during an exciting time for the franchise.”

The agreement is also set to enable Caesars to offer VIP and hospitality experiences available to its customers. The Caesars Rewards loyalty scheme allows players to earn points, which can then be redeemed against dining experiences, hotel stays and sports hospitality.

Caesars will also have access to Mets logos and trademarks and will be able to place its own branding around the Citi Field stadium and on social media channels.

Caesars, which is already an authorised partner of the MLB, is currently live in 23 US states.

Previously, Caesars has sponsored the likes of Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Michigan State University Athletics and Louisiana State University.
